Is there an easy way to get rid of all of those Facebook notifications at once?
You'll be happy to know that the answer is now yes. But for a long time, there was no way to ignore/dismiss/delete all those event invitations, application notices, cause pleas, and group grovels without clicking the "Ignore" button on each on of them individually. So, if you were one of the many unlucky people to find a situation like the below when you logged in to Facebook, you knew you had some work ahead of you.

But Facebook has seen the spectre of carpal tunnel syndrome lawsuits on the horizon (no, not really), and added one simple button/link that will make you very happy. In the top-right corner of the page that lists all your notifications, you will see the best two words on all of Facebook: ignore all.

When you click this button, you get a pop-up like the one in the below screenshot, which conveniently lets you choose which notifications you want to zap. So nice.
