How do I put videos on the internet to share with my family?
These days video is more popular then ever on the web, and with the bandwidth for video increasing all the time, it is easier than ever to post your own videos online. The most popular site for uploading videos is YouTube.
YouTube has made posting videos a very simple process. Simply visit the site and go through the following steps:
- In the top right corner of the page click the "Sign Up' link.
- Follow the steps to creating an account.
- Once you have validated your account, click the yellow "upload" button on the home page.
- Simply browse you computer for the video you wish to post, categorize and label it.
- Wait a minute or two for YouTube to be sure you aren't uploading full episodes of Lost....
- Send the link to friends and share away!
Two other options, which offer some interesting features (that we're sure YouTube will have sooner rather than later), that you might also want to explore are Viddler and Vimeo.
