Should I upgrade to Vista?
Yes and no. If it takes you a while to get the hang of new programs and you feel comfortable with Windows XP, stick with what’s working. Conversely, if you are the kind of user that adapts quickly and enjoys learning the ins and outs of new things, Windows Vista may be for you. While it has taken plenty of flack for a steep learning curve, Vista does come with some new security and user interface features that may be valuable to you.
Another thing to keep in mind when considering upgrading to Vista is how fast your computer is, since Vista has pretty steep processor and RAM requirements. In general, if you bought your computer sometime within the last year, you should be able to run Vista without problem, however, a RAM upgrade can never hurt.
