Wth another year in the books and hundreds of products recommended, we thought we'd take a look back at the products that made up 2008. At a macro level, 2008 was a year filled with tipping points for a number of popular products.

Prices for electronics have come down in general, but HDTV's, digital cameras, and laptops had an especially big growth in mainstream accessibility, driven by huge price cuts and tons of options. HDTV's for under $1000, laptops for under $600, and digital cameras under $200; lists such as these would have been impossible to compile just a year or two ago.

So without further a do, the DeGeeked Crew's picks for the best tech products of 2008:

3. TomTom ONE 125 3.5-Inch Portable GPS Navigator - A great GPS for under $100.
4. Canon Digital Rebel XSi 12.2 MP Digital SLR Camera - The most popular DSLR on the market.
   
5. Samsung LN40A550 40-Inch 1080p LCD HDTV - 40 inches of 1080p for under $900.
6. Apple MacBook 13.3-Inch Laptop - Sleak new design, a slew of upgrades, and the Leopard OS.
